That looked incredible in motion, and incredibly painful upon completion.
I agree with Ricky Morton, they fucked up that spot massively by parting - leaving next to no room to cushion his impact and slow down his momentum.
These types of daredevil spots are becoming way too common in general, and by doing so, taking away from their overall impact… these types of spots used to be so rare that they’d be talked about for months and years to come (Mankind & Undertaker, blah blah blah). Now they’re so common, we’ll forget about this by the time of the next major show.
Adding in to your last paragraph, it also kills it for me when they are really slow to set it up and you see the people waiting to catch them. But it’s taking so long to set up that the group has to waddle and wait.
How dare they fail my champ like that!
It’s fucking insane that he was able to stand and continue the act after that kind of fall. Hope he saw a doctor after that kind of hit.

i just saw will’s post and i just thought that it was an accident where he fell i didn’t know people actually just didn’t catch him that’s wild anyone who didn’t catch him should at a minimum not be invited back to that promotion.
Seemed like Moose and Cardona were the biggest of the offenders. AJ tried and did the most to help, Sidney got fucked a bit and couldn’t do much. Cardona might as well have done the Samoa Joe nope spot but he’s also on record on his fucking podcast that he doesn’t catch peoples stupid high risk spots so fuck him for agreeing to it anyway.
I’m late to the party here but just saw this, the “Indy King” looked more like the “Indy Buster” here. Like what the fuck were these guys doing and how can anybody trust them after that? Sheesh, you fucking catch somebody if you see it’s going stupidly wrong. Grrr… I hate these group catch spots even more now.
