SRS writes that there have been discussions internally about Ripley potentially getting involved in the world title picture when she returns. In the report, Sapp quotes a WWE source who said that the story available at the time will determine what programs she is involved in. Sapp also writes that there is no word on whether there are any active plans for Ripley. The company is just hoping that she could appear in some capacity prior to WWE SummerSlam if all goes well.

Why does the report quote it’s 1st paragraph, almost word for word, in a quote for the second paragraph? Why not just put something else as the first paragraph, then go to the quote, and finish it off as they did?
