What do you see changing first?
@GeekFTW I knew the ratio was bad but not this bad
Yep. Faces only had the Intl and World titles prior to WrestleDream.
@GeekFTW This would be an interesting graph to track per promotion.
Whoever is a heel or face changes from week to week and segment to segment at AEW though.
I’d say the one most likely to turn face soon would be Takeshita. With Fletcher’s (and by extension Carny Hot Dog’s) betrayal of Ospreay, there’s potential for further shake ups in the DCF.
As to who will be dropping their championship first, probably Okada, as the next Continental Classic should be starting soon.
The Continental title doesn’t need to be a title. It should be a trophy, or a ring. But they already have the diamond ring…
The continental classic is great. The continental title is worthless.
They should merge the International title with the TNT title.
They should merge the womens title with the TBS title.
The FTW is like the one belt that DIDN’T need to be retired, other than having TOO MANY belts. It was the only title that was different.
I’d love to see the ROH pure title get some love. Thats the best title in all of wrestling.
The FTW belt was never an officially recognized title in AEW, and it’s retirement with Hook as its last holder is the perfect symbolism for Hook “graduating” and pursuing greater challenges. Whether AEW capitalizes on this narrative has yet to be seen.
That was what made it cool. I mean, really, what’s the difference between the International title, and the TNT title, besides corporate branding?
The FTW belt had it’s own outlaw thing going on.
And I’m not even sure WHAT the continental title is supposed to represent…
Jack Perry doesn’t look like a heel, he looks like a bottom.
