Such a shame, I’m going to assume one of the reason is because Ricochet is no longer there and they want to spend more time together. In the short time (it seems short anyway) I’ve never heard a bad word about her announcing, she bought something different and unique to them, and from the clips that have been shared of her, she is just a big a fan as any other fan that watches.
I don’t think we’ll ever get someone who is as emotional in the ring announcements as Samantha is. Her calls when Sami Zayn and Cody won at WrestleMania will never be forgotten, you could hear her choking up when announcing Cody as the new champ.
Truly one of the best announcers in history.
Really was. Those social media clips were what won me over, seeing how emotional she would get and seeing how much she was enjoying the surprise appearances and such.

For the MANY of you who have asked, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources within the company that ring announcer Samantha Irvin resigned from her position.
Irvin quit the company. We are told WWE was made aware earlier today.
It was not a case of her being released.
As far as why Irvin opted to exit the company, that still has yet to be confirmed.

Yep. Some people think she’ll be in AEW (though likely after 6-12mo since she likely has a non-compete) even tho Ricochet said she won’t be. Big hints from others have implied she’s pursuing a music career.
