on temple os, it reports directly to God
once it discovers that you aren’t in the sudoers list, it prints the message, and then quits. any omniscient god will know.

I first got this error trying to play under the hood of a MacBook in high school and got scared it was reporting to the school. It of course didn’t.
Really, it’s the syslog. And if you have a email configured, the admin gets a mail.
