With only a few weeks left in the year (and we can all expect some of us may not be around as much during that time), now seems as good a time as any to reflect on the year and all that we’ve seen so far!

So with that said:

Matches, wrestlers, companies, what really stood out for you during 2023? What was your highest of highs, and lowest of lows. Did any wrestler go above and beyond your expectations? Did any big match you were waiting for end up being a huge let down? What company’s booking did you like and hate the most during the year? Let us know what you think of how everything has gone down below!

    The best:
    https://youtu.be/tybugI5CkIs?si=Q95ssNYbMzhOeKCO

    The Good:
    Every AEW PPV
    The rise of Julia
    Tanahashi. Nuff said.
How Jeff Jarrett has been used in AEW. I know it was November of last year that he debuted, but it really wasn’t until well into this year I relaxed and enjoyed his character work.
Getting to see Sting at a show before he retires.
    MJF’s title reign
Dante getting healthy enough to wrestle again within the year
    Malaki’s back getting better
Red Velvet and Statlander coming back after knee injuries
    The Continental Classic
Orange Cassidy’s first international title run
    Everything Toni Storm does
    Don Callis’ paintings
    #NeckStrong
    BTDO

    The Bad:
CM Punk and the no good terrible day
Statlander’s current gimmick and TBS title reign
Shida getting the women’s title losing it getting it and losing it again. Give her an actual title reign that isn’t in the middle of a pandemic!
Leg injuries. So many leg injuries.
WWE preventing a streaming deal for MLW
Chris Jericho dragging down everyone around him and not getting younger talent over. I don’t think anyone came out of the JAS in a better state.
    ROH titles on AEW
    Ric Flair on TV

The makes me sad but not necessarily bad:
    Jade leaving AEW
