Pretty close to either rigging up a relay and a few sensors or buying a Tailwind IQ3 Pro to make my garage door “smart”. Both have their pros and cons and the price difference shockingly isn’t that big.

It looks like there is a HACS integration for Tailwind. Anyone have any experience with that? Mostly I am just looking for something I can put on the dashboard so I can pull off half a mile from home and do a sanity check rather than need to loop back around. And while I have never actually needed to close the door during one of those, having the option is nice. I could maybe see myself setting up an automation to ensure it is closed at night but… I have never had a problem with that.
