It’s what he did outside the ring that overshadowed his wrestling legacy and made him a piece of shit. So, I suppose Hogan fits the comparison in that way. But, to assume that’s “love” is just plain wrong. Either he’s just plain dumb (likely) or he’s just saying shit that will get him attention (just as likely).
