There may be some federation issues going on. Yesterday was pretty dead and only kbin people were interacting on new threads. Another user let me know their instance hasn’t seen posts from us in 5 days, and 2 other lemmy instances I use have but have been pretty slow for 2-3 days. Currently waiting on a reply from the dev but if things seem dead: That is why.
Will update if anything changes as usual.
Edit: Seems to be minor and not affecting most people so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 'bout your day.

Fedia.io and other mbin communities have been consistently unable to view the community

The microblog is being weird for me (I think?). It says there’s 93 posts but I haven’t seen anything new since 92.
93 was a non-wrestling post that came in via hashtag which I deleted, but the number didn’t go down lmao.
And here I was assuming everyone was just processing Punk being in the WWE lol
Seems to have been lol, the issues aren’t a kbin/lemmy thing (but a kbin/friendica thing it looks like.
But I’m sure the news of Sunny going to jail will prompt some activity in a bit lol
I’m not sure it’s related, but none of the memes on the Meme Monday threads show up on Lemmy, mobile and desktop. But I think that is a known issue.
Yeah kbins image attachment function doesn’t seem to federate (yet) :(
Maybe we should use imgur (or similar) in the meantime until it gets worked out?
Yeah I’ve been considering that for the last little while personally with my own memes, Tommy isn’t the first person to have pointed out lemmy’s inability to see them over the last month or so.
@TellumSiege Next Monday when you do the meme thread, add in a line or so about uploading the picture to Imgur as well and linking it in the comments (for the time being). If people wanna do both the kbin attach & the imgur link that’s fine, but until lemmy can see them we should at least be posting an imgur link so everyone can see them. Once it’s fixed we can stop lol.
I’ll also make an announcement in general about it too cause technically it does affect more than the meme threads, just the meme threads are the most affected lol.
