There is still the need to add repositories and download packages from the web every so often though. I don’t see why AV isn’t more common. It doesn’t stop the more clever and up to date attacks, but some protection from the simple things wouldn’t hurt.

Almost. 1/x approaches infinity from the positive direction, but it approaches negative infinity from the negative direction. Since they approach different values, you can’t even say the limit of 1/x is infinity. It’s just undefined.
I thought you can activate inline mode if you don’t like the UAC pop-up.
Maybe they knew, but wanted to see what would happen.

I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
I appreciate the people who daily drive pinephones. They are paving the way for when they’ll be viable alternatives for the masses. (Or verifying that they won’t be, we’ll see.)
Maybe a setting where windows wobble, only when you’re not moving them around.

Before you ask a question, you must read the 10 page essay on how to ask questions. Asking questions is serious business after all, we can’t have people doing it incorrectly.
I did somehow manage to ruin an SSD when trying to set up dual booting. I couldn’t actually read the data off of it after whatever nonsense I did. After reformatting it a few times to no avail, I gave up on it.
I probably should have tried reinstallling the firmware on the SSD, but I had it at that point. Even so, the PC still worked. After convincing the computer to boot off of the original drive, I had no issues.
Are there people that use window managers without using desktop environments? I thought that one is a component of the other.

It’s all semantics. In my mind, the OS is Tux Racer, and the kernel is Ubuntu.
I started with aeropress, but I somehow get more flavorful coffee when I do a pour over. I’m not sure how that happens since I’ve been hearing that it is easier to get good extraction with immersion brewing, but I just keep on doing whatever works best for the most part.
PopOS has been working well for me so far. After a couple of weeks of messing with it to fix some issues, it works seamlessly for the most part. Every so often I find something new though. On Windows I could easily plug in a second pair of headphones and switch between them as outputs. On PopOS it doesn’t work this way. I looked up a fix, but I saw that it will require changing more settings and probably installing some more packages, so I decided not to bother for now, lol.
I will say that I’m not a fan of the weird pop shop. It feels janky to use, and sometimes the gnome software center gives me notifications to install updates when the pop shop also can install those updates. It feels like there should just be one place for updates and new apps by default.
