I complained that Microsoft was doing that and this and made it difficult for me to change x.
Then in Linux I changed x and broke my system and complained about how I fucked up.
So well one has advantages over the other in some aspects and in others the other one is better.
I personally don’t like windows because of the ads, weird settings, and the spying software. My whole experience is not that great on windows. And I love tinkering in Linux.
Only if you managed to set up steam and stuff all by yourself!
The thing is. Once smb. Figured it out and shares his config files everybody can just paste it into their nixos.
So if enough nerds use the os it will be the future for sure.

There is exactly one arm like “pc” out there that isn’t using arm but an open source processor. And it can run almost anything an arm pc can.
Also my RaspberryPi is a pc in my opinion.

Normal people don’t change their bootloader that often.
Use glorious nixos. Never fear anything breaking. And even if you manage to do so just roll back in the boot menu or terminal.
Or learn a whole new system and try nixos

The first step is to really understand how nix works and how nix-shell -p works.
Then probably know that autoPatchelfHook exists
And sth. You have to watch out for if you install sth. With a daemon or a service you need to enable it additionally to the installation.
So for example for open-iscsi you need to enable the service.open-iscsi = enable so it can work.

Ah this makes sense since I started nixos 3 weeks ago and was sure I already was on a wiki before April. I believe the official one is also mostly copied from the unofficial one for now
They released their wiki apparently on April 1st.
So now we need just to fill it with the missing content. (which there is a lot). And it will be as good as the arch one… In 20 years.
