I’m not going in totally blind - I have experience with using linux on the server side. I’ve just never used it for a personal desktop environment.
Interesting, good to know. I’m not quite there yet, but my next build will 100% run linux, I just haven’t decided on the distro yet. Thanks for the info!
Legit question - why not Ubuntu?
Linux is more friendly. It requires a certain level of competence that Windows doesn’t, but if you’re above that level it’s generally better.

Why do so many Linux users not understand the meaning of user-friendly?
I mean, I’ve been using GIMP as my primary photo editor for…over a decade. When I use other programs, nothing is where I expect it to be and I think “well, that’s fucking stupid”
