I think Firefox only sees 8 GB and limits itself ideally. So if it goes over it just unloads unused tabs and such.

Better add 32 GB Zram to be safe tho
I use Kde plasma so I’m allowed to make fun of it
Some software: fork()
Me: Welcome to the process gauntlet loser, better not hang for a millisecond or you are dead and gone.
This might be my new favorite team-up of Germany + Japan ever
Haha, how naive. Snap, systemd, desktop environments, immutable or not, the list goes on. Lots of linux people have strong opinions on some or all of them, myself included. Linux people will never stop arguing over all of those and that is fine. There is choice, there are options, there are different opinions and that is great.
Arr yarr ahoy and avast!
Can’t complain about Arch myself, but I prefer my software to not change. I’m back on Mint 22 with Plasma 5 and Wayland and I absolutely love it.
I am of the opinion that such people are fools. That is their right of course, just as it’s my right to call them fools.
Fighting the reds aka. Ubuntu users?
Bro is doing maths for fun, but can’t comprehend sb using linux? Least he could do is try to be funny.
How dead are we talking here? Even on an older laptop a kernel update doesn’t take that long. Should have just kept it going, hoping for the best.
Why would Arch do this?
My i7 Thinkpad is a dual core and pretty trash. Can’t even play YouTube videos without forcing H264 and even then it’s better to use FreeTube. Sounds about on par with a Raspberry Pi
If you revert a change that’s negative bits. You can do it!
No need to convince me. I will always believe people complaining about garbage electron apps.
That being said, I use vscodium myself and actually like it. Does not mean I won’t complain tho
