  • If you have two groups, and you accidentally start dragging a window (assuming you use the mouse at all, which I do) Hyprland will drag the entire group and merge it with the one it’s hovering.

    Now, imagine someone coming from Sway, who is used to rearranging individual windows by simply dragging them around without having to explicitly move them out of containers…













  • I’m very confused by this thread.

    Progress bars are handled by the applications themselves, whether flushing happens or not;

    immediate flushing does not increase storage lifespan, in fact letting the OS decide when to do it may allow wear-leveling to work better.

    (Though, IMO immediate flushing should be the default for removable media on user-friendly distributions, like swap partitions are)
