I love my frame.work 16 and its hardware switch for camera and mic
I’m really not exaggerating. I saw online a similar issue and the guy had to reinstall the entire OS to get office to work again
That’s windows for you, have a major issue? Reinstall the OS. Been using the computer for to long? Reinstall the OS
That checks out, also for anyone reading this that’s interested in the types of games that have anticheat, here’s a good constantly updated list of games that do/don’t work with linux due to anticheat
Even some of those work! (Not that I am willing to pay money for them)
Out of curiosity, how many games have you had to get a refund in the past couple years? Becouse I haven’t launched a game on linux sense I switched (2 years and a couple weeks ago) that didn’t just work (barring some potential proton changes)
I had almost the same thing for about 2 months before I gave up and switched to linux, only difference is I would get up to go to the bathroom, come back and it’s already trying to up date, that happened to me pretty regularly
Recently installed windows on a separate drive on my linux machine, anyone got any good scripts and things to improve win 11?
Iirc I can browse folders in jellyfin for videos not for audio, I have no idea why they are different but they are
My issue with using jellyfin for audio probably isn’t fixable by any external app, I need to be able to use the folder structure, with some content it’s the only reasonable way to sort it
Until then I’ll still be using plexamp for my audiodramas
Sudo rm -Recursive -Force C:/ ?
The same is true no matter the OS, It’s always good to be prepared ahead of time
Obviously I can’t speak for everyone, but personally speaking I’ve had no issues playing the multiplayer games I play, which (in my particular situation) puts me above at least one of the windows users in my group
Installing things not through steam can take longer sometimes, but I always made sure to do that ahead of time anyway
“I don’t have the same problems anymore so this is outdated”
Ftfy
I switch to linux becouse I was having regular forced updates (that would then bluescreen, only to revert and try again a day later)

Meanwhile I’m over here, not used windows on my own machine in more than 1.75 years and I don’t even touch the terminal most of the time, I know how some commands work, but I hardly touch them
I should really learn to do more with it, but I have my system setup and working how I like, So I don’t really have motivation to learn to do all this other cool stuff
Nvidia can have it’s issues, but 1) they’re few and far between, and 2) they’re getting better all the time
Just so long as you didn’t want to play Starfield on release week
Requesting? Last I heard they had patched all methods of not creating an account barring using the command line, for windows users that’s pretty forceful
