Why the hell you on EOS forum? Never looked at it, didn’t realize it was a cesspool. But like, no ones forcing you to use that shitty forum? I doubt most EOS users even bother to look at it.
Awful community? Its Arch, which is regarded as having one of the most comprehensive guides and as long as you find someone willing to not be a dick, the community is great!
KDE Neon or EndeavorOS are also options, depending on whats important to you in a distro. I recommend getting a live usb so you can boot into linux and try it before installing the whole system.
Its “free” to install. Still a pain in the ass and needs to be unlocked with MAS lol
Archlinux is very similar to steamdeck so i recommend either that or EndevourOS. Lutris + Wine-GE lets you play basically any game, from Windows or other hardware, on linux so i recommend that
A few cheap hard drives. I spent about $150 for a 4tb, an internal 2tb, and an external 2tb hard drive. Then a couple of tb of SSD for speed.
Wine-GE + Lutris. I have over 200 pc games working on my Archlinux install.
Installed with archinstall and got it up and running in less than 30 minutes. Assuming you have used linux before it really shouldn’t take too long, i use arch btw
I liked Micro just a little bit more than Nano
