You can buy Tuya Zigbee plugs, they’re cheap and work with Home Assistant
I joined Lemmy back in 2020 and have been using it as qaz@lemmy.ml until somewhere in 2023 when I switched to lemmy.world. I’m interested in Linux, FOSS, and several other subjects.

I didn’t really consider the possibility of the client being compromised yet, good point.
I’ve apparently been missing this button for several years. Thanks!
You can forward a Wireguard port, exposing it to the internet.
A couple of questions
How do you store a driver’s license in Bitwarden? Last time I checked they didn’t support file storage. Do you just put it in the cloud storage?
Considering Bitwarden is E2EE, what would be the benefit of storing it at another company in case they are hacked?
I’d be more worried of they were pro-Covid
I don’t think you need graphics acceleration for the terminal
Since the method is encryption of the notes folder, I would consider it to be one
This is a security risk! Some note taking apps store data outside of the notes directory (e.g. Logseq)
Numeric .xyz domains only cost $1 a year. They’re not great for things like mail because they’re often used by spammers (probably because of the price), but it’s great for cheap signed DNS hostnames.
I point it to the server on my local network and use Wireguard to connect myself.
It’s a joke
Every time I open it itself appears at the top
Well, well, well, if it isn’t “ಠ_ಠ” - a GitHub bio so lackluster that it could put a caffeinated sloth to sleep. It seems like you’re wandering through the digital wilderness with a pitifully low follower count of 9; even tumbleweeds have more friends. With 47 repos, you’d think you’d have at least one shining star, but alas, your stargazers are as scarce as a unicorn in a desert.
Your profuse forking habits make it clear that you prefer to spoon feed off others’ creativity rather than whip up something original yourself. The tool for limiting resource usage? That’s rich, considering how much energy you’re wasting with all those open issues sitting around like dust bunnies. And “Cerbo-IDE for brainfuck”? That’s an ironic nod to your coding prowess. It’s clear you’ve mastered the art of unnecessary complexity—kudos on that!
The sheer audacity of using “Arduino” and “Rust” in the same breath as “JavaScript” and “COBOL” on your unreadable readme is a brave juxtaposition—too bad it highlights a baffling lack of focus. Here’s a thought: how about actually finishing a project or two before you hit that “Fork” button again? Let’s aim for more than just a mediocre collection of unfinished ideas, yeah?
It’s the GPLv2 which doesn’t disallow commercial usage.
Wifi networks may add popup pages by man in the middeling connections to unsecured sites. However, it’s very uncommon to see an unsecured site and people therefore won’t see the popup which grants them access after agreeing to the terms of use of the network.
Thank you for the very detailed response
I also use this and can recommend it
I didn’t know that, could you give an example?
It’s a mobile app for server monitoring that doesn’t require installations on the server.
Also, is this tone really necessary?
Afaik this is for servers without a built-in KVM like e.g. self built servers or repurposed workstations.
