Afaik MSVC forbids it and it’s one of the very few nice things about c++ on windows.

If you need to write assembly don’t fucking do it in a cpp file. Create a header, an assembly file, assemble it and link to it.

Inline assembly is such a shit practice. But c++ bad.

Have you ever paid for a copy of Windows? You know you should, right?

If you’re talking about hardware instead, Mac computers are expensive but when it comes to quality the vast majority of PC laptops feel like fucking toys compared to them. When I see a hp or dell laptops Im repulsed (not talking about super duper premium lines which are hit and miss at best). I personally use an M1 macbook pro and I love the computer, the OS is starting to bother me though and I really wish Apple weren’t dicks and would make Linux run on the M cpus themselves.

Being a normie isn’t the best look either.

I have installed arch on my work laptop two years ago now and I have never had a problem with it booting, logging in or functioning. Never as in not once. I do update it periodically and every time it just fucking works.

I used debian at a desktop at another work and the desktop had an nvidia card in it. Every time apt said “nvidia” the computer booted in single user mode or kernel panic.
