For a single window.
For a single window.
The exact same problem remains unsolved by your second recommendation, obvious trolling at this point.
Feel certain that if KWin could solve the problem, I wouldn’t list it as a problem.
I’m using KWin, and you could for example start every Firefox window at the same specific position, but it would be better if it could just be where I put it last time, because even if I pop every window in the same place or not, the instant you have more than one window, it’s useless. Remembering would be preferential.
Wayland is the replacement for X11, it’s getting pretty close to what I consider pretty good, I only have 2 more desires for Wayland, I’d like it to be able to remember where my windows were placed, and I’d like scaling to not suck.
Mine backs up my text messages, but I would prefer to backup my app data, authenticators, wallpaper, themes, games, etc., not every app is a shitty front-end to a website.
I wouldn’t even feel compelled to root my phones if Google would actually back up my phone instead of whatever 1/4 baked shit they’ve done thus far.
Caught somewhere between Windows 95, OS/2, and BeOS…
At 150% it’s the “same” resolution as the desktop display, which is great for window management, % of wasted space completely depends on how many pixels you had to start with…
My laptop is at 150%, my external display is at native resolution, like god intended.
Install Gentoo, feel the burn!
I miss Firefox remembering where its windows were when it restarts >_>
I need my neck shaved…
Well, I like IRC, ergonomic keyboards, sometimes debug using print commands, use Gentoo (Happy birthday!), play DnD and sometimes have to do things the hard way, and I like systemd, especially as a developer, I can test services right from my user account.
I think the hate comes from people who just want something to hate.
But you haven’t clicked yes on any of the offers yet…
