I put that fixture in my kitchen before I sold my old house. I really liked it. But if you want the best bang for your money, just go with light bulb replacement. LEDs won’t last forever and in 10-15 years someone will have to replace that fixture unless they are willing to manually replace the LED strip inside it.

One time years ago, Sophos provided an update the blocked every updater on the machine. Each computer had to be manually updated. They are still in business. My point is that this isnt the first and wont be the last time it happens.

I just applied the update to my old laptop that has been kickin KDE on Arch for a while now. The only thing I noticed was it took longer to load the desktop the first time, my theme was broken but everything was fine when I selected the default dark theme. The fonts look different but otherwise its the same as it ever was
back when you had an init system and you got it just the way you wanted it, you would be pissed that you had to move to systemd
now its there when you install and it is stable so it isn’t a big deal. But old beards hate change.
It’s happened to me 2x in 20 years of Linux usage. First time was my fault.
