inkscape is vector based. krita is focused on painting iirc, but can do light editing really well ime.
taking some inspiration from krita is a good first step
only if it goes through their servers
well duh. windows is the default everyone uses, no one needs to recommend it.
linux on the other hand is an obscure choice that may be better for that use case and may not be known.
kde has some impressive windows themes that are REALLY convincing
yall need dark mode extensions on yo browsers
and kernel-level anticheat. cant forget that one.
this is why i switched from elementary. really good distro, but its based on ubuntu lts. think years instead of months. big oof.
i find that distros focusing on ease of use tend to not tolerate modding and prodding as well as the distros focusing on modularity and customizability.
i think its time to consider something like arch or gentoo when you are changing it around too much at the expense of some more maintaining.
also yeah fedora is really polished, i like it.

aaaand thats why i like “newbie” distros like ubuntu mint fedora and such.
i want my computer to work without a hitch and without having to maintain the OS.
linux at phone: google, locked bootloaders and hardware attestation.
its actually not that bad once you scrape away all the crud.
problem is, its annoying to do and they keep re-enabling it and coming up with new crud.
